Professor Jason Mattingley is a cognitive neuroscientist with research interests in understanding the neural and cognitive mechanisms that underlie selective attention. He completed a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours at Monash University (1988), a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Melbourne (1990), and a PhD in Psychology at Monash University (1995). He was appointed as Foundation Chair in Cognitive Neuroscience at The University of Queensland in January 2007. In 2012 Professor Mattingley was awarded an Australian Laureate Fellowship by the Australian Research Council.
