Stephanie is a PhD Candidate supervised by Professor Annemaree Carroll and Professor Robyn Gillies. Her research will explore what social synchrony looks and feels like in the middle year’s classroom, how effective teachers develop and sustain this connectedness and engagement, and whether these processes can be explicitly taught to other teachers. This study will explore the research problem through the lens of the multi-disciplinary Science of Learning. Stephanie has taught for over 20 years and has a Masters in Music Education from UWA and a Bachelor of Music Education from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
